Some Special Days at Aadharshila Vatika

Nature Walks:  Nature Walks are planned  so that young ones can jump, hop, skip, rope, run and roll, make noise and learn about the environment.

Monthly Birthdays: Birthday of the tiny tots are celebrated to raise their self esteem and make them feel loved.

Colour Days: Concept of a particular colour is taught to the children every month and on a specific day , students dress up in monthly coloured clothes.

Flameless Cooking: The young ones adorn their chef caps to exhibit their culinary skills in flameless cooking and prepare delicious and nutritious snacks which are a visual treat and tickle the taste buds.

Concept Days: To gain a better understanding of a particular concept like Shapes in Maths and Helpers in Environmental Education, the young Aadharshilians dress up according to the concepts taught in a particular month and enact on it with the help of props and speak a few lines on it.

Grand Parents Day: there is a special bond between grandparents and grandkids. It is a relationship based on pure love, appreciation and joy. By celebrating Grand Parents Day we make the young Aadharshilians aware that Grand  Parents are a valuable resource and provide a sense of security at every step of life.

Annual Celebration

Sports day

The Annual Sports Day in Aadharshila Vatika is a much awaited major event where tiny tots explore their hidden sports interests and enjoy a healthy competition with each other. The young Aadharshilians actively participate in the March Past, different races, fun and frolic.

The young achievers are felicitated with trophies and medals. This is an event which helps children build confidence and social skills and also teaches them the benefits of goal setting and practice.

Annual Day

This day is the highlighted event of the school as the celebration of Annual Day gives it an occasion to showcase its achievements. An important point to note is that there is 100% participation of the tiny tots where each budding artist gets an opportunity to showcase their unique talents in the form of various cultural activities like plays, music and dance, acrobatics etc. The tiny tots enthrall their proud parents by giving jubiliant performances.

Festivals

All the festivals are celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm, as they enable the children to celebrate the joy of being together, and it also brings the students closer to traditional and cultural beliefs. The festivals are celebrated as per the month:

National Festivals

Republic Day and Independence Day: The National Festivals are celebrated with children dressed in tricolor attire, and witnessing Flag Hoisting and doing March Past.

Gandhi Jayanti: The Father of the Nation is remembered  by young toddlers  dressed up in  white coloured clothes.

Excursions: Students learn best when they can see, hear and experience things first hand. Keeping this in mind and breaking the monotonous routines special outings are organized to places such as Children’s Park, Zoo, Rail Museum, Dolls Museum, Temple, Church and Gurudwara.
